I have been involved in daily spiritual practice for over 30 years. My books have been concerned with the direct experience with God, and ways that we open ourselves to this most sacred relationship. Recently, I have felt called to serve as a spiritual mentor for individuals who yearn for a deeper, more direct relationship with the Divine.

        While I was raised Christian, I am familiar and comfortable with many of the contemplative spiritual traditions, believing that while the forms may differ, the central truths are one and the same. I am a student of Jungian psychology, and have studied Buddhism and Hinduism alongside contemplative Christianity. I have also researched the current perspectives on mentoring in the Christian tradition, and endeavor to abide by this rich and evolving tradition.

        As a part of this mentoring process, I am prepared to focus on several areas of your spiritual journey, including:

        *your meditation and prayer life, and ways to deepen it.
        *learning to recognize the stages and signposts of spiritual unfoldment.
        *the importance of honoring the distress that can arise in a genuine search for meaning.
        *psychic and spiritual experiences that arise alongside spiritual practice.
        *rituals that can enhance inner work.
        *dream incubation and lucid dream induction as ways to enter into spiritual communion on the dream level.
        *dream analysis as a way to understand your relationship with the Divine, and the blocks to deeper communion.
        *discerning your spiritual "calling."
